Kiva Thompson is a Trauma System Nurse Consultant for the Colorado Department of Public Health. Her prior experience includes work as a trauma nurse coordinator, trauma registry specialist and emergency department nurse. Kiva achieved her RN (Registered Nurse) from the State of Colorado and her MSN from Regis University. When not working, you can find her spending time with her husband, two kids and two dogs, Barley and Hops. Fun fact: Kiva is vegan and loves to bake.
