About the Presenter

Kevin Spirlong
Division Chief of Strategic Planning, Analytics & Emergency Management, City of Surprise (AZ) Fire-Medical Department
Over the past 23 years Kevin has held a variety of positions/assignments including: Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, Training Officer, Accreditation Manager, Battalion Chief and adminstrative Chief Officer. He received an AAS Fire Science Degree in 1997. Graduate of the Phoenix Fire Department Training Academy class 01-2 & he has been a paramedic since March 2003.
Additionally, he is a Level 1 Peer Assessor with the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) & recently completed his fourth site visit in April of 2018. Kevin’s current assignment is in Administration working days, for the City of Surprise Fire- Medical Department (SFMD) as Division Chief of Strategic Planning, Analytics & Emergency Management.
